Showmakers produced this annual gala celebration at a time when the event and show format were in need of revitalization. By reorganizing the agenda, adding a post-awards networking lounge and updating entertainment, the event took on a new look and was infused with energy. Showmakers also introduced an audience participation champagne toast to the honourees, red carpet interviews, increased stage recognition and marches for winners and sponsors, more upbeat video and leading edge graphics, interactive table talk and focused the entertainment toward the awards finale and post-show reception to reduce the overall running time.
